Wetherspoon on a more intimate scale than many, attracting a diverse crowd of customers since it first opened in 1997. The pub is named after Baron William Cadogan, once Commander-in-Chief of the British Army, whose family seat was nearby. Paintings by local artists adorn the walls, and TV screens on mute show news and occasional sporting events. The house beer is from the local Loddon Brewery and other microbreweries are also represented, along with real cider.
